Cancellations
All cancellation requests must be initiated within 12 hours of placing the order or before your order has been shipped, whichever happens first.
In case your order has already been shipped, it cannot be cancelled as our service partners charge us as soon as the pick up is completed.
Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, or damaged or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / Non-returnable items/Non-Refundable
Some of our items including our teabags, tea pouches, loose tea, herbs, spices and herbal tisanes cannot be returned (or refunded), because they are perishable goods. We also don’t accept returns of custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. However, we do accept exchanges for most of our items if they are requested for an exchange within the offer period (5 days). Please check our exchange policy below.
Exchange Requests
To be eligible for an exchange, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start an exchange, you can contact us at info@timelytea.in If your exchange request is accepted, we’ll send you a return address (based on your nearest location), as well as instructions to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. You can always contact us for any return questions at info@timelytea.in
Please keep the below steps in mind for the exchange:
- You need to send 4 pictures of the tea pack (from all sides) and a short video of the packet in the mail to info@timelytea.in, for our quality team to inspect and grant you the exchange approval.
- Once we have verified that the packaging is in good condition, we will mail you to proceed with the packing for a return exchange. We will arrange for pickup service at your convenience. Please note that for the exchange pickup, you will need to pay a shipping cost of Rs.150 per box, which would also include the shipping cost of the new box reaching you as well.
- Please do let us know in the email, which tea you would need in replacement. Please note that the newly selected tea should be of at least the same value as the previous tea. Any additional difference will be paid by you before dispatching of new tea.
- Please note: Only dispatch the existing tea pack once you have received a confirmation mail from our side for the exchange approval. Please try using the same box for exchange – the one you received the pack in, initially.
- Once we receive your parcel of existing tea, it will go for a quality check. Once the tea is passed a quality check to ascertain the packet condition, we will dispatch your new order.
Please note – exchanges are only possible in India. Exchanges are not possible for orders outside India.
Conditions under which replacement/cancellation requests will not be accepted –
- The replacement request is generated after days from the date of delivery.
- The damaged/ missing product is reported after 5 days from the date of delivery.
- The cancellation request is generated after 4 hours of placing the order or before your order has been shipped, whichever happens first.
- Wrong product was ordered by the customer.
Example cost for an exchange:
Say you had ordered a tea of value – Rs. 600. Since you are going for a replacement, Rs. 150 is the charge which we will have to bear to send you the new product via courier. Your new tea should be at least Rs. 600 value. Your net pay, in that case, will be Rs 750 (Rs. 150 + New Tea Value of Rs. 600).
